Denver Broncos mock draft, remaining Day 3 picks

Pick 145: Rachaad White, RB, Arizona State

At some point, the Broncos need to add a player that can share the load with Javonte Williams.

Rachaad White is as intriguing an option as anybody at this point in the Draft, with his tremendous athleticism and really good receiving traits.

Even though White is not in the mix with the top running backs in this class, he could really help a team like the Denver Broncos with his ability to get downhill in a hurry.

Pick 206: Charlie Kolar, TE, Iowa State

I think the Broncos would consider Kolar much higher than this, but the mock draft simulator has him as the 206th overall player on the board so he was a no-brainer here.

I think Kolar can play the “Y” tight end position at the NFL level and the Broncos need some depth there.

He was a three-time All-American at Iowa State and should be able to carry that dependability over to the NFL.

Pick 232: Max Borghi, RB, Washington State

Although these last two picks seem superfluous and borderline greedy, I like the inclusion of some more playmakers for the Broncos late in this draft.

Max Borghi is a very intriguing running back prospect with tremendous skills as a receiver and I think he could be a weapon from day one.

Pick 234: Grant Calcaterra, TE, SMU

If Grant Calcaterra is going super late on Day Three of the 2022 NFL Draft, some team is going to get a steal.

Although there were some questions about his football future for a bit, the former Oklahoma star found a strong footing at SMU and bounced back after major concerns about concussions ended his time at Oklahoma.

With Kolar projected more in the “in-line” role, Calcaterra gives you depth in the flex tight end role.
