Offseason NFL 2022 – Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (12) celebrates with teammates after completing a touchdown pass making him the all time leader in touchdown passes in the first quarter during their football game Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. Will the Green Bay Packers find a solid replacement for Adams in Deebo Samuel?

Playing alongside a future Hall of Famer is always an added incentive for players trying to decide where to go next. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers just shipped off their All-Pro receiver and need a replacement.

Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a five-year deal, turning Rodger’s favorite target into an outer conference rival. The decision to return to Green Bay without his number one receiver shocked enthusiasts nationwide. With the opportunity to trade for a solid replacement arising, the Packers front office should play the situation closely.

Last season, Deebo Samuel became the first player since 1999 and just the third in NFL history to have at least 1,000 yards receiving, five touchdown receptions, and five rushing touchdowns.

Adding Deebo Samuel to the mix in Green Bay will help the Packers maintain their offensive production. Out of the 253.8-yards passing average per game last season, 97 of those yards were Davante Adams’.

Inserting Samuel where Adams left off would also create more options for new offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich. The Packers have struggled to balance running and passing the football, two areas Deebo excels.

Acquiring a player like Deebo Samuel could change the projection of a regular season. In a league where scoring has become an art, the need for athletic and dynamic players is at an all-time high.

If the San Francisco 49ers decide to trade their multi-skilled receiver, they could receive a handful of prime draft picks. The Eagles and Jets are known to exchange their first-round picks to make a deal in the past.
