While the NFL Draft is all about securing franchise-altering rookies, these six stars could see themselves getting dealt to a new team once teams are on the board.

The 2022 NFL Draft is set to introduce the next wave of top names in the league as teams look to address their biggest needs.

While the focus is rightfully so on the incoming rookies, there could be quite a few veterans that get moved as well. In an offseason that has seen a flurry of top names dealt, the draft could be yet another place where we see some stars get moved.

Here are the six stars that should be traded during the NFL Draft.

NFL star Jimmy Garoppolo traded during the 2022 NFL Draft?

It hasn’t been an ideal offseason for the 49ers for a wide variety of reasons. Starting it off, almost everyone expected the team to trade Jimmy Garoppolo early in the process as they have Trey Lance ready to start.

The quarterback market wasn’t as hot as many hoped though, as most teams are content trying to land a rookie or rolling with a veteran for a season.

Sure, some big names got moved, but Garoppolo isn’t in that same category of a player. He is an efficient game manager but needs to be surrounded by elite talent if he wants to succeed.

With the draft finally here, one has to think the 49ers would be willing to move on from him for a mid-round pick. Don’t be surprised to hear his name pop up if a suitor finally makes a decent offer.
