Where do AFC teams need to focus in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft?

Buffalo Bills (Pick #25)

The Bills are pretty much set for next year. They drop Cole Beasley and most likely Emmanuel Sanders, so a wide receiver that falls could be their best pickup.

I like the pairing of Jahan Dotson and Stefon Diggs. Drake London, if he’s there, would also be a really good pairing to go with Diggs that creates tons of matchup problems for secondaries.

Corner is a possible route to take with Levi Wallace now in Pittsburgh, but if I’m the Bills I only take a corner here if it’s Andrew Booth, Derek Stingley, or Trent McDuffie available. I’ll be shocked if Sauce Gardner is there at 25.

I think McDuffie is the second-best corner in this class, so I’ll be surprised if he’s there too. And I’m sure somebody is going to take the chance on Stingley by #25. That leaves Booth.

D-line could be a sneaky route here as well. The Bills are pretty set on their D-line, so I could see David Ojabo as a risk worth taking for them that they can sit on until he’s recovered from his torn Achilles.

And lastly, I don’t think this is a bad spot for a running back pickup- perhaps the only running back taken in the first round this year. Kenneth Walker III. Breece Hall. Take your pick.

Buffalo needs an upgrade to their running back core, and they probably shouldn’t rely solely on their quarterback to carry them in that department going forward.
