For the past couple of years, the Green Bay Packers have had one of the better safety duos in the NFL in the form of Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage. Savage and Amos have torn apart the NFC North at times.

While they have been great, Amos might be on his way out with his contract soon to be ending. With Amos possibly out of Green Bay in the near future, it wouldn’t hurt to add some youth to the position.

J.T Woods has some serious track star speed on him. Woods takes off coming out of his breaks, plus he has some serious ball skills which has resulted in a fair amount of interceptions in his college career. While Woods is a superb athlete, there are some issues he needs to work out

Woods has serious speed, but with that speed comes a somewhat lack of agility as he takes rounded off angles to ball carriers and when attacking the ball as well.

Woods is also on the smaller side of things as he weighed in less than 200 pounds at the combine, which has hurt his ability in the run game.

Woods will give the Green Bay Packers a serious threat at the safety position, and if he’s able to bulk up while Amos is still in Green Bay, he could be a solid pick-up for the Pack.

Other Players Considered: Yusuf Corker, Cordale Flott, Mykael Wright

Center?. Mercer. Jason Poe. 9. 49. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player

Jason Poe isn’t really a household name when it comes to college football or when it comes to the NFL draft, but that’s more than fair. Poe played at a small school in Mercer and has barely played any serious competition in his college career. I didn’t even know about Poe until later this year, but man oh man is he fun.

First of all, yes, Jason Poe is fairly small. At his pro day, he came in at 6’1, 300 pounds, which again, he is small for an offensive lineman, but oh my goodness did he crush every other drill. Poe ran a 4.9 40-yard dash, ran a 4.5 20-yard shuttle, had 34 bench press reps, had a 32-inch vertical jump, a 9’3″ broad jump, and a 7.44 3-cone. Just absolutely ridiculous numbers.

On film, Poe is constantly looking to crush defensive lineman. Poe is one of the best offensive linemen at pulling in this class as his athletism constantly shows up during it. I feel bad for any defensive lineman who gets in his way when he has a head of steam.

While Poe has some ridiculous traits, he does have some issues. First off, Poe played at Mercer and barely saw any real tough competition. While he is fun to watch when he’s being aggressive and trying to bury defenders, he lacks the refinement, which could end up hurting him big time in the NFL.

Poe is one of the more exciting offensive linemen out there and would likely need to be played at center if he’s going to be along the offensive line, but with how athletic he is, it wouldn’t hurt for a creative team like the Green Bay Packers to grab him.
