After trading AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Tennessee Titans acquire the 18th overall pick and take Treylon Burks as a form of compensation.

With AJ Brown and his $100 million contract heading to Philadephia, the Tennessee Titans get to pick 18th, knowing that they have a large hole to fill.

The question was, who was the player going to be, and would he be able to contribute right away?

It seems as if they have found that player in the form of Arkansas’s Treylon Burks. One, he is cheap because he is on a rookie contract, and two, there is a lot to like about his physical gifts, which should give Titans fans a reason to breathe a sigh of relief.

Burks was a strong player in college and was known for making highlight-reel plays. Given the style of football that the Titans want to play, having big-play potential in the passing game is a must. His college resume, consisting of over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns last year, is impressive.

The Tennessee Titans trade AJ Brown to the Eagles and replace him with Treylon Burks.

After what took place in the postseason last year, it was easy to presume that the Tennessee Titans would look for offensive or defensive linemen. That all changed when AJ Brown was sent to the city of Brotherly Love.

Though the Titans did find someone to replace him in the lineup, how quickly can he adjust to the team and get acclimated with the system? Playing in the SEC helps, but Arkansas loved to throw the ball while Tennessee likes to run the ball.

Nevertheless, Tennessee still has a lot of draft left in them to address those needs, and given how the board has looked, they may have a good chance at finding quality starters at those positions in later rounds.
