Kansas City Chiefs pick No. 21: Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington: Jaire Alexander

Stop me if you heard this before — there was a trade during the 2022 NFL Draft. It’s hard to remember another draft where so many picks traded hands and the Chiefs and Patriots made a move here which allowed Kansas City to take Trent McDuffie.

He compares favorably to Jaire Alexander as he’s an incredibly smart player who shut opponents down. He rarely gave up touchdowns and has the same insane confidence that Alexander has.

Green Bay Packers pick No. 22: Quay Walker, LB, Georgia: De’Vondre Campbell

Quay Walker is a player who will simply get the job done and his pro comparison is a player the Packers know well — since he plays for them. De’Vondre Campbell is one of those players who is simply all over the field and that’s what Green Bay got in Walker.

Buffalo Bills pick No. 23: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida: Jaylon Johnson

The Buffalo Bills were one of many teams that moved up in the 2022 NFL Draft on Thursday night and they leapfrogged the Dallas Cowboys in order to secure Kaiir Elam. An elite athlete with NFL bloodlines, Elam is similar in stature and playing style to Jaylon Johnson.

His length is a huge part of his game and he was better in 2020 but that may have been due to a knee injury that slowed him down in 2021. BUffalo needed a starting corner, and they got a solid one here.

Dallas Cowboys pick No. 24: Tyler Smith, OT, Tulsa: Connor Williams

This pick is hard to understand. The Dallas Cowboys had the most penalized offensive line in the NFL last season and with Connor Williams leaving, they had a shot at improving that.

Instead, they added Tyler Smith who is incredibly raw and has been hit with a ton of flags as well. He could also move from tackle to left guard, making him even more like Williams.
