The Baltimore Ravens always find great value in the NFL Draft, and the 2022 NFL Draft is no different. They stole David Ojabo in round two.

The Baltimore Ravens are really good at the NFL Draft.

Every single year, they find value. Every single year, almost every single one of their picks. There is no explanation for it other than they are just really, really, ridiculously good at the Draft.

With their two first-round picks, following a blockbuster trade involving wide receiver Hollywood Brown, the Ravens found Notre Dame star safety Kyle Hamilton sitting there for the taking at pick no. 14 overall.

At pick no. 25 overall, they somehow managed to land Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum who will immediately replace Bradley Bozeman as the starter and should be a decade-long player at the position.

Now, in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Ravens have struck gold yet again with Michigan pass rusher David Ojabo.

Baltimore Ravens end David Ojabo’s 2022 NFL Draft fall

Routinely projected among the top 10 picks in mock drafts a couple of months ago, Ojabo suffered a very unfortunate injury at his pro day which could cause him to miss the entire 2022 season.

Even with that being said, the Ravens are comfortable with this pick for a variety of reasons.

First and foremost, John Harbaugh has a pretty good source — his brother Jim — at Michigan.

He has another pretty good source with Mike Macdonald, the Ravens’ defensive coordinator who was previously the Michigan defensive coordinator.

The Ravens have all the information you could possibly need regarding David Ojabo, and they have added to an already impressive 2022 NFL Draft class before the top 50 picks are even in the books.

Baltimore now has two high-upside pass rushers for the future with 2021 first-round pick Odafe Oweh coming off of a strong rookie season and Ojabo, whenever he is healthy and ready to go, also set to become an eventual starter.

If you base the value off of mock drafts that were made back in January, the Ravens basically came away with three top-15 players in this class.
