4. DeMarvin Leal, DL, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers aren’t looking to take a step back with the way they handled Day 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft. After adding a weapon on offense in round two, they got a steal in round three.

DeMarvin Leal was added to the roster that could lose Stephon Tuitt. The veteran defensive line is entering the last year of his contract. Given his injury that kept him out of the 2021 season, no one knows if he’d be the same.

Neal is a gap penetrator with an excellent first step when he lines up as a three-technique. For the Aggies, Neal played both edge and tackle, which gives the Steelers a versatile piece on defense.

Neal is an excellent run defender with strong hands and a high IQ. The Steelers got themselves a long-time starter in the third round.

3. Andrew Booth, CB, Minnesota Vikings

There was no debating the top two corners in the 2022 NFL Draft, Sauce Garner, and Darryl Stingley. Both of those guys went inside the Top 5.

Both CBS Sports No. 3 ranked corner was Clemson’s, Andrew Booth. Pro Football Focus had Booth ranked 23rd overall.

It’s a lot to like about Booth, staring with his quick feet and short-area explosiveness. He’s a man cover corner who does a great job recognizing routes and mirroring wide receivers.

When the ball is in the air, he plays with aggression and shows great ball skills. The 6-0 194-pound corner is tenacious and does an excellent job in run defense. The Vikings got themselves a week one starter who could become a Pro Bowl player in a few years.
