Do we love the trade for Hollywood Brown?
I think the Cardinals should be very pleased with it because it makes Kyler Murray happy, which makes everyone in that organization happy.
Brown just hasn’t been consistent enough for me to be worth a first-round pick, and even with the Cardinals getting a pick back in addition to the first-rounder, I can’t help but feel like that was an overpay to keep Murray on their good graces.
At the end of the day, I applaud them for doing what it takes to keep their young QB happy, because that could keep the franchise in contention or sink the ship.
In round two, the Cardinals got one of the best values in Trey McBride to join recently re-signed Zach Ertz. I love that duo for them and you can’t help but love the all-around group of weapons the Cardinals have now assembled for Murray to spread the ball to.
Cameron Thomas and Myjai Sanders will play right away for Arizona, which lost Chandler Jones in free agency. Thomas might be playing more on the line than off the edge, so I think we could see them both playing together in 2022.
With some of their later picks, I feel like the Cardinals got solid value in Keaontay Ingram out of USC and Marquis Hayes later on.
