If the Giants didn’t make any picks after the first round, they would have improved their roster substantially.

The fact that they had 11 total picks to add to this roster in Joe Schoen’s first class with head coach Brian Daboll?

It was a fantastic class.

Kayvon Thibodeaux may have gone up and down on the pre-draft hype rollercoaster, but he’s a good player who will significantly upgrade the Giants’ pass rush right away.

Evan Neal was hyped as potentially being the first overall pick for months before the Jaguars settled on edge players as their primary targets. Getting him to come in and bookend Andrew Thomas with Mark Glowinski on the interior is massive.

Not only that, but the Giants then turned right around in round three and landed Joshua Ezeudu, who made 28 starts at North Carolina including 20 at left guard. He will start from day one.

In round two, the Giants prioritized Wan’Dale Robinson, which was an interesting pick because no Kadarius Toney trade happened before or during the Draft, and it seems like those two guys would play the same or a very similar role.

The Giants kicked off day three with one of the best blocking tight ends in the class, San Diego State’s Daniel Bellinger.

Dane Belton brings outstanding athleticism to the safety position as well as versatility and special teams abilities.

Micah McFadden also could be a special teams ace for the Giants and a potential starter down the road.

Overall, this class was outstanding and Schoen deserves a round of applause.
