Where will some of the top remaining NFL free agents land for the 2022 season? There are a bunch of big names still waiting to be signed.

Even though the 2022 NFL Draft is behind us, there are still quite a few prominent NFL Free Agents available, seemingly more than in a typical year.

With so many big names still available, we could have another wave — even if it’s a slow-moving wave — of NFL Free Agency in the typically slow-going post-draft timeframe.

We’ve already seen some moves happening around the league since the 2022 NFL Draft concluded, so let’s predict where five of the top remaining NFL free agents will land this season, starting with a superstar receiver.

Prediction: Signs with the New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are not messing around.

After the 2022 NFL Draft, it really feels like the Saints have re-established themselves as contenders in the NFC if nothing else for a Wild Card playoff spot.

After drafting Chris Olave and Trevor Penning to boost the offense early on in the 2022 Draft, the Saints made a huge splash after the Draft by signing veteran safety Tyrann Mathieu to a three-year deal.

The deal to sign Mathieu wasn’t just to get a hometown player back in Louisiana. The Saints are making a push and they’ve got to surround Jameis Winston with the best supporting cast possible.

Speaking of doing just that, signing Odell Beckham Jr. to add to the receiver group would be a great idea for New Orleans.

If Jameson Williams can tear his ACL and still get drafted in the first round (by a team that traded up 20 picks to get him) then Beckham Jr. should have no issue finding a home sometime in the next month or so as he recovers from an ACL injury suffered in the Super Bowl.

Just like Mathieu, Beckham Jr. would be another former LSU superstar returning to his home state of Louisiana to play for the Saints.

And the fit makes sense.

With Michael Thomas coming back from injury and Chris Olave being added to the lineup, Beckham would give the Saints a very dangerous trio of receivers to spread the ball to.

This might be one of my favorite potential fits of any remaining NFL free agent.
