RB: Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines
WR: Michael Pittman Jr.
WR: Alec Pierce
WR: Parris Campbell
TE: Mo-Alie Cox, Jelani Woods

The Colts are another team I felt like, did I put this team way too high?

I think the best justification for keeping the Colts out of the top 10 worst supporting casts for an NFL quarterback is the emergence of wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and the fact that Jonathan Taylor could have easily been the NFL’s MVP last season.

Pittman is a big-bodied receiver who plays a pretty well-rounded and complete game. I think he’s only going to grow and get better.

The Colts added Alec Pierce in the draft, so they’ve got another option with size and speed to stretch the field vertically for new quarterback Matt Ryan.

Nyhiem Hines is a very effective change of pace back who certainly factors into the equation here.

Parris Campbell has only played 15 games in three seasons, severely limiting our ability to talk about his “potential” anymore. He’s still just 24 going on 25 this summer, so he can become a factor yet.

Mo-Alie Cox has six touchdowns over the last two seasons and is a pretty underrated tight end who is being joined by 2022 rookie Jelani Woods.

There may not have been a better athlete at the tight end position in this year’s draft class than the former Virginia product.
