17. Cleveland Browns, Deshaun Watson

RB: Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt
WR: Amari Cooper
WR: David Bell, Jakeem Grant
WR: Donovan Peoples-Jones, Anthony Schwartz
TE: David Njoku, Harrison Bryant

Of the teams near the middle or upper half of this list, I think it’s safe to say the Cleveland Browns have the worst wide receiver situation going on.

With all due respect to Amari Cooper, a fine player, there’s just not much here in terms of actual NFL production.

Do I like David Bell’s projection? Yes.

Donovan Peoples-Jones has made some splashes. So has Anthony Schwartz.

Jakeem Grant is a good return man.

The strength here is at running back and tight end. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are an outstanding and physical duo that can wear teams down over the course of four quarters.

David Njoku and Harrison Bryant are two very good receivers at the tight end position as well.

Deshaun Watson is stepping into a solid situation in Cleveland but the Browns still probably need to make an upgrade at receiver.

Cooper is best served in a WR2 role and if he’s the WR1 going into this season for the Browns, expectations will be unfairly high.
