NFL 2022: Ranking the best supporting casts for every starting QB
9. Seattle Seahawks, Drew Lock
RB: Kenneth Walker, Rashaad Penny
WR: DK Metcalf
WR: Tyler Lockett, Freddie Swain
WR: D’Wayne Eskridge
TE: Noah Fant, Will Dissly
Whether it’s Drew Lock or perhaps Baker Mayfield, someone is getting one of the best and most dynamic groups of offensive weapons in the league.
This Seahawks team will be able to rely on the duo of Kenneth Walker and Rashaad Penny at the running back position, along with their other depth in the backfield.
Walker was one of the top backs in all of college football this past season, showing off his physicality, toughness, and speed. Penny had a breakout of sorts in 2021 and was finally able to stay healthy for a longer stretch of games.
DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett make up one of the top duos at receiver in the league while the Seahawks will expect 2021 second-round pick D’Wayne Eskridge to take a big leap forward in 2022.
At the tight end position, the Seahawks added Noah Fant through the Russell Wilson trade. When used properly, Fant is one of the best YAC tight ends in the league.
Will Dissly is primarily a blocker but he can find soft spots in coverage and contribute as a receiver as well. The Seahawks are paying him pretty big money in 2022, signing him to a deal worth $8 million per year.
