20 NFL bold predictions after the 2022 NFL Draft

4. Josh Allen tosses 50 touchdowns
It’s really impressive how much Josh Allen has grown as a passer — and a leader — for the Buffalo Bills.
When the Wyoming product entered the 2018 NFL Draft, he was a wildcard that many thought couldn’t make it in the NFL. He had a cannon for an arm and could move the ball with his legs but his accuracy was all over the place.
Still, the Bills liked him enough to take him at No. 7 overall and he was the third quarterback taken following Baker Mayfield and No. 1 and Sam Darnold at No. 3. As a rookie, Allen seemed to be what the doubters expected, a talented kid with a lot of issues.
He completed just 52.8 percent of his throws for 2,074 yards with 10 touchdowns and 12 picks. But he continued to put in the work and over the past two seasons, he’s become one of the best in the game.
In 2020, he had 4,544 yards passing with 37 touchdowns and he added another 4,407 with 36 touchdowns this season. He then had one of the most impressive postseason games ever, which sadly ended in defeat when Buffalo’s defense couldn’t hold a lead with 13 seconds left.
Allen was clearly bothered by the loss and is a player who won’t just complain about it. Much like when he needed to fix his accuracy, Allen will simply put in the work to get better and the result will be another huge leap in his production.
In 2022, look for Allen to throw for over 5,000-yards with 50 touchdown passes as he makes every team he faces pay for the defeat he suffered in the playoffs last season.
