Ranking all 13 of the Denver Broncos undrafted rookie signings
The Denver Broncos capped off a 9-player draft class with 13 undrafted free agents. We rank all 13 players the team has added.
The Denver Broncos have had about as impressive of an offseason as you can possibly have.
After acquiring Russell Wilson and making some big splashes in free agency by signing Randy Gregory, DJ Jones, and others, why should anyone care about the team’s undrafted rookie free agents?
Long story short, there may not be a better team in the NFL at finding undrafted gems over the last 30 years than the Denver Broncos.
The team’s rich history of developing undrafted talent could very well continue with one of these guys. Let’s rank the best undrafted free agent signings this team made, which includes a couple of players already on the early radar.
Denver Broncos undrafted free agent class in 2022 looks strong
13. Dylan Parham, TE, North Carolina State
The tight end position is going to be a fun one to watch for the Denver Broncos in 2022, but the biggest darkhorse on the roster right now might just be former North Carolina State quarterback turned tight end Dylan Parham.
Parham caught 12 passes over five seasons at North Carolina State, including a pair of touchdowns in 2021.
Parham must have shown something to the Broncos scouts on tape to be able to receive a call after the draft, there’s just not a lot of production to go off of.
12. Rodney Williams, TE, Tennessee-Martin
Once again, the tight end position for the Denver Broncos is already rather loaded ahead of the 2022 season.
A player like Rodney Williams is going to have to prove that his outstanding athleticism (4.51 in the 40-yard dash, 40.5-inch vertical jump, 10’10” broad jump) can immediately translate on the field.
Williams is built like a big receiver and if he’s going to play tight end in the NFL full-time, he’s going to need to add size to his 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame.
A year on the practice squad where he can develop is likely his best path to an eventual NFL role.
