Ranking all 13 of the Denver Broncos undrafted rookie signings
9. Kaden Davis, WR, Northwest Missouri State
The Denver Broncos always give wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni a plethora of young guys to work with every single year and Kaden Davis is a highly intriguing prospect.
The leading receiver last season at Northwest Missouri State, Davis was a big-play threat on offense and special teams, averaging 16.2 yards per reception with 10 touchdowns.
Davis’ speed is legit. He ran a 4.40 at the Missouri pro day. He’s also got tremendous explosiveness and short-area quickness, but with his size (5-11, 188 pounds) is he limited to the slot?
Although I have him ranked 9th on this list, I think Davis has a shot to become something for the Broncos even if it’s not in 2022.
8. Michael Niese, OL, Temple
In the wide zone offense, an athlete like Michael Niese has a real shot to become a rotational player or eventual starter.
A Dayton transfer, Niese started this past year at Temple as a tackle after earning All-Conference honors at Dayton as a guard.
His positional versatility is obviously an attractive trait and to make it in the NFL these days, the more you can do, the better.
This guy is the ideal practice squad type of offensive lineman and someone who could crack the top eight in a year or two.
