21. Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles

2021 stats:

  • 912 yards from scrimmage
  • 0 TD
  • 26 receptions

Given the emphasis the Philadelphia Eagles placed on running the ball last season, I think maybe the most shocking statistic of anyone on this list is the fact that Miles Sanders didn’t have a single touchdown — rushing or receiving — in 2021.

Sanders is still one of the better backs in the NFL, and I think his 2022 play is going to confirm that.

Entering a contract year, Sanders has only played 12 games in each of the last two seasons and he’s going to need to prove that he can stay healthy if he’s going to get a new deal from the Eagles.

Along with that, the production has to be better.

Even though the Eagles give plenty of touches to guys like Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell, Sanders has to do his part to assert his spot on this roster as the RB1.

As the Eagles’ offense continues to make strides, I think Sanders is going to find himself in more and more favorable situations.

He should be poised for his best year as a pro in 2022.
