4. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

2021 stats (13 games):

  • 1,337 yards from scrimmage
  • 9 total touchdowns
  • 47 receptions

Incredibly, Alvin Kamara has never rushed for 1,000 yards in the NFL.

That didn’t stop the New Orleans Saints from paying him $75 million on a five-year contract.

Kamara is highly paid not because he’s just a workhorse back like the top three guys on this list, but because he is arguably the best all-around back in the game when it comes to running and catching passes.

This past season, Kamara hit a career-low with 3.7 yards per carry. That doesn’t mean you should sell your stock in this guy.

Since he came into the NFL five years ago, Kamara has almost managed to average a touchdown per game.

He is so dynamic as a receiver and in the open field, and in 2020 it reached a peak for him with 21 total touchdowns.

There are moments where Kamara is truly unstoppable when he gets the ball and the Saints need him to return to that 2020 form this coming season with Jameis Winston back in the fold and healthy.
