3. Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns

2021 stats (14 games):

  • 1,433 yards from scrimmage
  • 9 total touchdowns
  • 20 receptions

Nick Chubb’s production as a RB1 for the Cleveland Browns is even more impressive when you consider the fact that he splits so much time in the backfield with Kareem Hunt.

Over four years and 58 games, Chubb averages 5.3 yards per carry. In many ways, the arrival of Hunt has allowed Chubb to maximize his efficiency as he averages only 15.7 carries per game over the course of his four year NFL career.

Chubb is one of the best running backs in the NFL after contact. He’s a tackle-breaking machine.

He’s a truly special three-down back and seeing videos like this, it’s no wonder he’s able to shrug off tacklers so easily.

As big and strong as Chubb is, he’s not missing dynamic long speed. He’s a complete running back who is capable of absolutely taking over games.

There’s nothing he can’t do well and if he were given the same treatment in terms of carries and touches per game as Derrick Henry or Jonathan Taylor, his production would be bananas.
