The Dallas Cowboys and the rest of the NFL had their schedule released on Thursday. Now we look ahead and predict the outcome of each game in 2022.

On Thursday night, the NFL released its 2022 schedule as the Dallas Cowboys — and all other teams — learned what their plans would be from September through January.

For Dallas, they found out they would once again open the season up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, although this time, they’ll be in Texas rather than Florida.

Here, we look at that game, as well as the 16 other contests for Dallas, and predict their outcomes.

Week 1: Dallas Cowboys vs. Bucs (SNF)

Dallas was impressive last season when they hung with the defending champions in prime time. They lost in the end but gained a lot of respect for how they battled.

There will be those who think the Bucs will win this game because they did in 2021, but that’s exactly why Dallas pulls this one off.

Prediction: Dallas 24, Tampa Bay 21

Week 2: Dallas Cowboys vs. Bengals

After taking on the team that won the Super Bowl a year ago, the Cowboys now battle the team that came up just short this past season as they host the Cincinnati Bengals. While they were able to slow down Tom Brady and get a huge win, this defense isn’t ready for Joe Burrow.

Look for Dallas to get embarrassed by a couple of former players of theirs as Chidobe Awuzie gets a pick and La’el Collins completely shuts down everyone he blocks. Fans have seen it too many times where former players excel outside of Big D and it happens here again.

Prediction: Cincinnati 31, Dallas 17

Week 3: Dallas Cowboys at Giants (MNF)

As bad as the loss to the Bengals is, that’s how good the win in Week 3 against the Giants will be. New York deserves credit because they drafted really well but as long as Daniel Jones is returning, there will be more questions than answers.

And here, the question New York will be asking is why they kept throwing toward Trevon Diggs who racks up two picks in a lopsided win.

Prediction: Dallas 41, New York 24

Record in September: 2-1
Overall Record: 2-1
