Week 4: Dallas Cowboys vs. Commanders

After knocking off one divisional rival, the Dallas Cowboys face another in Week 4 as the Washington Commanders come to town. Carson Wentz might be better than Taylor Heineke, but not by much. Dallas pulls off another win as they’re off to a hot start.

Prediction: Dallas 26, Washington 16

Week 5: Dallas Cowboys at Rams

The defending world champs host Dallas in Week 5 as they make a trip to Los Angeles. The Rams are simply too stacked for Dallas right now as Allen Robinson joined a receiving corps that already had Cooper Kupp. Throw in the fact that Aaron Donald is a menace and the Cowboys are lucky to be within one score.

Prediction: Los Angeles 31, Dallas 23

Week 6: Dallas Cowboys at Eagles (SNF)

After being frustrated the week prior by L.A., Dallas has a Sunday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly added Jordan Davis and traded for A.J. Brown, but that’s not enough to overthrow Dallas as the Cowboys make a statement.

Prediction: Dallas 38, Philadelphia 21

Week 7: Dallas Cowboys vs. Lions

Last season, Dallas showed they could put up a ton of points on inferior teams — and the Detroit Lions are an inferior team. Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb end up getting on a huge role here as the Cowboys win with ease — while Micah Parsons also records his first-career pick-six in a rout.

Prediction: Dallas 41, Detroit 17

Week 8: Dallas Cowboys vs. Bears

Speaking of inferior teams, the Chicago Bears cannot hang with Dallas right now. Their defense slows them down a little but the lack of wideouts makes it hard for them to put many points at all on the board.

Prediction: Dallas 24, Chicago 10

Record in October: 4-1
Overall Record: 6-2
