Week 9: Bye

A bye in Week 9 is good for Dallas as they get a break right in the middle of the season. Then, they have their toughest stretch as November is when they play their Thanksgiving Day game, giving them three contests in just over two weeks.

Week 10: Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay

This one is going to be a much-anticipated game as the Green Bay Packers will host the Dallas Cowboys. It will be billed as Mike McCarthy’s revenge game as he returns to Lambeau Field. But that’s not going to matter much when the ball kicks off.

Green Bay has a strong defense that will be tough to move the ball on — and Aaron Rodgers will do just enough to send his old coach home frustrated.

Prediction: Green Bay 21, Dallas 18

Week 11: Dallas Cowboys at Vikings

Last season, Cooper Rush led the Cowboys to a late win over the Minnesota Vikings. This season, Dak Prescott gets his turn as he leads them on a last-minute touchdown drive to steal a win in a tightly-contested NFC showdown.

Prediction: Dallas 21, Minnesota 20

Week 12: Dallas Cowboys vs. Giants (Thanksgiving)

The annual Thanksgiving Day Game will feature the Cowboys and Giants. Again, New York is using this season to figure out if Daniel Jones is the man and it’s likely they discover he is not. That’s clear as he throws a couple more picks and the Dallas defense scores late to put this one away.

Prediction: Dallas 24, New York 13

Record in November: 2-1
Overall Record: 8-3
