The NFL schedules have been released for the 2022 season. Here are five games on the Washington Commanders’ slate that you should circle.

The NFL schedule for the 2022 season is finally here. It may not be much, but it’s enough to keep NFL fans entertained for a little bit. And the Washington Commanders have an exciting 18-week run to dive into.

What are the most exciting games on the schedule though? Which games should Commanders fans circle on their calendars as “must watch”?

You could make the argument that every game is important. In a 17-game season, every loss and every win (and maybe even a tie) feels extra important. And with the NFC East up for grabs more than most other divisions, that only amplifies the excitement.

However, there are always those games that feel like they mean a little bit more. With that in mind, let’s try to decide which ones will have the most buzz. One simple rule before we move forward anymore though. No repeat games.

Washington plays every team in the NFC East twice. We aren’t going to be using two games against the same team.

Why not? because that’s no fun. If we’re going with the five most “must watch” games, it really feels like a cop-out to use two games against one team.

We’re looking for games with meaning. Could it be an old rival? Or just a game that feels like it will be important in the long run (against another potential wild card team)? Possibly even a game where we see some old friends (and yes, we’ll be talking about that a few times in this article).

Every game is important. What weeks should fans be gearing up for the most though?
