Antonio Brown’s recent tweet about the Pittsburgh Steelers is interesting and possibly misleading about how his heart still lies in the Steel City.

There is no denying that on the field, Antonio Brown was a dominant and productive player for the Pittsburgh Steelers; the numbers speak for themselves.

Yet, delusional antics, erratic behavior, and flat-out overdramatic flamboyance, both good and bad, are why he has been released by three teams and not signed yet to an NFL roster.

So, when Brown posted about Pittsburgh and how he wants to retire as a Steeler, it raises eyebrows, specifically towards his behavior during the end of his tenure.

There is no rule that he can wish to retire with the organization, but his mind has been so erratic that it is tough to take him seriously or trust him. Also, his behavior when things don’t go his way is another reason the Steelers need to take this with a grain of salt.

Antonio Brown is back to looking for attention, and the Pittsburgh Steelers need to stay away

Yes, Antonio Brown was a great player for the Steelers. They took a chance on him in the sixth round when they drafted him back in 2010. He has proven to be one of the best sixth-round players in the league’s history, even winning a Super Bowl in 2020 with the Buccaneers.

However, all of that is overshadowed by his behavior. There is no need to throw more mud and be colorful about what he has done; the evidence is out there. He cost himself so much money by acting like a fool, and he has to pay for it.

The Pittsburgh Steelers need to just stay away. Stay away. Don’t answer any questions about this. You have a new rookie quarterback that needs more attention and development.

That is what matters most over a former disgruntled player seeking more attention than necessary. Mike Tomlin should do the right thing and ignore Antonio Brown. It’s well worth it.
