AFC West, NFL 2022
AFC West – NFL Power Rankings (If that’s what you call it when you lose the AFC championship game … even in the manner K.C. did.) We’ll guess the former and wager a team with Patrick Mahomes under center will be fine in the long run. Syndication The Enquirer /

The AFC West is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL leading up to the 2022 season. Let’s rank the leaders of those teams; the quarterbacks.

The 2022 NFL offseason has been incredible, specifically when it comes to the “arms race” that has occurred within the AFC West. Many of the teams within the league build their teams to contend with powerhouse franchises, like the Kansas City Chiefs.

While the rest of the league has been preparing no one has prepared more for the Chiefs than the other three teams that occupy the AFC West division.

The Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders have been stacking their rosters all offseason, whether it was through free agent signings, drafting new and exciting rookie players, or extending current players.

Once the dust settled it was unanimous that the AFC West is going to be the toughest division in the league and many analysts believe all four teams should make the playoffs. That is if they all were in the same division.

Instead of breaking down the teams themselves let’s analyze their leaders; the quarterbacks 1-4 in terms of their history, potential, and outlook for the upcoming season.

And let’s put this into perspective; two of the four quarterbacks have already won a Super Bowl.
