No. 5 NFL quarterback in 2022: Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tom Brady is back for his 500th season as an NFL quarterback, and he doesn’t look a day over 35.
In all seriousness, the departure of Bruce Arians as the Buccaneers’ head coach in 2022 has been borderline non-news given the fact that Brady is back.
Seriously, nobody is talking about Arians stepping down. At all.
That’s because everyone knows one thing to be true — with no. 12 under center, the Buccaneers are going to be title contenders out of the NFC.
Brady has shown absolutely no signs of slowing down, even as he enters his mid-40s.
He’s still out there slinging the ball around the yard, attempting a whopping 719 passes last season alone.
Brady threw 43 touchdowns last season, more than any individual season since his 50-touchdown campaign back in 2007.
His interception percentage of just 1.7 is astounding considering the volume of passes he’s throwing these days.
There’s no debating it anymore — Brady is the GOAT and it’s flat out fun to watch him play at this high of a level, defying Father Time in the process.
