Best NFL trade no. 3: Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins

As important as Tyreek Hill was to the Kansas City Chiefs offense, you had better believe he’s about to see the ball just about every other play with Miami.

The Miami Dolphins paid a premium for Tyreek Hill this offseason.

They gave the Kansas City Chiefs a first, second, two fourths, and a 2023 sixth-round pick as the cherry on top of this whopping five-for-one deal.

Mike McDaniel, the former 49ers offensive coordinator/run game coordinator is now the head coach of the Dolphins.

Tua Tagovailoa remains the team’s quarterback.

Hill gives this team an outstanding weapon to pair up with stud 2021 rookie Jaylen Waddle, and the Dolphins now have some of the most enviable speed at the wide receiver position in the entire NFL.

Between Hill and Waddle, defenses are going to have their hands full, but the questionable piece right now is obviously Tagovailoa.

Is he finally going to be able to take that step forward? Are Hill and Waddle going to have to do the majority of their damage after the catch, or will Tua be able to push the ball vertically?

At Alabama, we all saw how Waddle was able to turn a slant route into a 75-yard touchdown. He and Hill can both still do that at the NFL level.

Still, the Dolphins are going to need Tua to be much better in 2022 if they are going to maximize the return on investment in their two star receivers.
