Dallas Cowboys: Trysten Hill, DT

Some Dallas Cowboys fans might still be upset about the fact that Trysten Williams is a member of their team. Despite a desperate need for safety help, the Cowboys let defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli influence their pick — and they took Hill despite the fact that he didn’t even start at UCF in his final season.

Since arriving in Dallas, Hill has been a major disappointment — which pretty much everyone except for Marinelli expected. He has hardly seen the field, being able to play in just 18 games, and has 27 tackles and a mere half-sack.

So why would it be a surprise for him to be cut? Because Dallas hates admitting they’re wrong and they also don’t have much depth at the position.

Even so, it’s getting to the point where they need to look for someone else who can actually contribute.

Denver Broncos: Malik Reed, LB

Malik Reed started 26 games over the past two seasons and had 96 tackles and 13 sacks in that span.

However, he could be sliding down the depth chart now that Randy Gregory was brought over in free agency and will be moving to outside linebacker in the Broncos’ 3-4 defense.

Denver also added Nik Bonitto in the draft who could prove to be their top rotational edge rusher. As long as that proves to be the case, the Broncos could decide to move on from Reed who has no guaranteed money on his deal — and would save them $2.4 million.
