Jacksonville Jaguars: Jawaan Taylor, OT

It seemed as though the Jacksonville Jaguars should have done more to improve their offensive line in the draft. Sure, they added Brandon Scherff at guard but their tackles still need more help.

Perhaps, they have faith that Walker Little can take a step forward this season and challenge Jawaan Taylor —‚who gave up several sacks while drawing 12 penalties in 2022.

Jacksonville did franchise tag Cam Robinson to keep him on the left side and if Little does win the right tackle job, that could leave the door open for Taylor to be released. Most of his salary would come back to them in savings, which makes it even more likely to happen should he not be the starter.

Kansas City Chiefs: Rashad Fenton, CB

There aren’t many players the Kansas City Chiefs could shock us with at this point. They already restructured Frank Clark’s deal to keep him in town and if they were going to save money by releasing a veteran, Harrison Butker would be the most beneficial from a financial standpoint — but it would be a mistake to move on from him.

In the end, the one player left who could save them money and be a surprise cut is Rashad Fenton. With Trent McDuffie added in the draft, Fenton could wind up losing his starting job and that could lead to K.C. trying to save a couple million dollars.
