Ranking the top 10 cornerback duos in the NFL for the 2022 season

It’s safe to say that the Green Bay Packers have the best duo of cornerbacks in the NFL right now, and you could almost take your pick between two guys for the other spot alongside Jaire Alexander.

Both Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas had amazing years in 2021 for the Packers, and frankly, if you could just have Stokes and Douglas, the Packers would probably still make this list.

Starting with Alexander, who is now the Packers’ $84 million man and making $21 million per season on his new deal.

He’s only 25 years old and has established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the game today, allowing under 54 percent of passes thrown in his direction to be completed over the last three seasons.

Eric Stokes was one of the best rookie defensive backs in the NFL last year, allowing just 51 percent of throws into his coverage to be completed.

He brings outstanding size and speed to the position, but because Alexander was limited to just four regular season games in 2021, veteran Rasul Douglas had the opportunity to shine in his place.

Douglas had five interceptions last year and 13 passes broken up, both career bests.

The Packers have one of the top overall defenses in the league going into 2022 and certainly one of the best overall secondaries with this outstanding trio of corners.
