Denver Broncos player no. 4: Kyle Fuller, CB

If you rewind to the 2021 NFL offseason, it’s hard to fathom that Kyle Fuller to the Denver Broncos would actually end up being one of the worst signings of the year.

The Broncos quickly scooped up Fuller after the Bears cut him, signing him to a one-year deal worth $9.5 million.

Apparently, the Bears’ decision to cut Fuller was more than just financially charged.

Everyone in Denver felt like Fuller joining Vic Fangio’s defense would rekindle his All-Pro days, especially because he was not yet 30 years old.

Fuller ended up struggling from the moment he took the field in Denver, getting beat one play after another until he was eventually benched.

It was a brutal sight to see.

Fuller got some experience in the nickel last season, where he frankly looked the best he had all season long. At least, playing the run and being utilized on some blitzes, he looked pretty good.

Now, Fuller is a member of the revamped Baltimore Ravens secondary, which got a major makeover at the safety position and is getting back Marcus Peters off of injury.

Can Fuller rebound with the Ravens?

They are as good of a landing spot as any, especially because they are his hometown team.

However, if last year was any indication, the best days for Fuller are long, long gone.
