Here are five bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2022 season, including CeeDee Lamb taking off as the No. 1 wide receiver

We are entering the summer months which means 2022 training camp is just around the corner. For the Dallas Cowboys, they will again head to Oxnard, California during July as they prepare for the coming year.

They’re also fresh off a disappointing season where they won 12 games but they got knocked out of the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers, again going 0-1 in the postseason.

If they want to get better this season, they’re going to have to dig deep — especially after losing some key contributors. Here, we look ahead to the season and make five bold predictions.

Dallas Cowboys Bold Prediction No. 5: Jonathan Garibay hits on 90 percent of his kicks

The Cowboys moved on from Greg Zuerlein after two frustrating seasons that included 22 total missed kicks and as of now, it looks like Jonathan Garibay — an undrafted free agent from Texas A&M — has the inside track to the job.

During his two seasons with the Red Raiders, Garibay hit on 23-of-27 field goals and 55-of-57 extra points. He also made a few game-winners during his time, including a 62-yarder to knock off Iowa State.

This bold prediction is that he not only does enough to keep the Cowboys from bringing in competition but he winds up making them look brilliant for moving on from Zuerlein as he converts on 90 percent of his field-goal attempts on the season.
