Dallas Cowboys Bold Prediction No. 2: CeeDee Lamb tops 100 receptions, 1,500 yards, 15 TDs

Trading Amar Cooper for a mere fifth-round pick feels like a major loss for the Cowboys. But that move isn’t made unless they believe they have someone on the roster who can be the No. 1 guy and take the offense to the next level.

Dallas believes they have that in CeeDee Lamb, who is entering his third season in the NFL. Fresh off his first 1,000-yard season, Lamb has 153 receptions for 2,037 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first two years in the NFL.

More is expected of him in 2022, with Bucky Brooks even suggesting he could be a top-five wideout in the league.

Since Cooper was traded, Dak Prescott asked for Lamb’s locker to be moved closer to him as he wants to make sure the two continue to work on their rapport with one another. With the two focused on connecting even more in 2022, Lamb should have a breakout season — which is saying a lot for a guy who already had 1,102 yards last year.

This prediction is that Lamb will catch more than 100 passes for over 1,500 yards, and 15 touchdowns. Dallas might not have as many weapons in the passing game as they did in 2021 but they have a guy ready to prove he belongs among the best at the position.
