Dallas Cowboys Bold Prediction No. 1: Dak Prescott wins NFL MVP

With Amari Cooper gone, the Cowboys will be leaning more heavily on CeeDee Lamb in the passing game — but will also expect Dak Prescott to prove he can elevate others around him.

Prescott has been criticized throughout his career as a player who needs everything around him perfect in order to succeed. He’s been called a “bus driver” and oftentimes, the weapons around him get all the credit when they win and he takes all the blame when they lose.

Of course, this is the way it seems to go for the quarterback of America’s Team and Prescott has always handled it in stride, while continually focusing on improving every season.

After putting up 4,449 yards with 37 touchdowns and 10 picks last season, Prescott will be asked to do even more and this final bold prediction is that he will answer the call.

Motivated by the disheartening loss, look for Prescott and Lamb to become one of the better quarterback-wide receiver combinations in the game. On top of that, he will continue to help Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz excel at their positions — while also getting rookie Jalen Tolbert involved.

As of now, he’s being overlooked in just about every MVP discussion but if he can have a career year even after losing Amari Cooper, it could be enough for him to win the coveted award.
