New season, new chance for guys to make a name for themselves. Here are 5 guys who should see their stock rise this season.

During the 2022 NFL season, we can expect to see a wide variety of breakout players all across the league.

Which five players, in particular, should you be keeping your eyes on? Let’s take a look.

No. 5 NFL Breakout Star:  Jerry Jeudy, WR, Denver Broncos

. Jerry Jeudy, WR. 5. player. 45. .

The Broncos’ offense took a big step forward this offseason by trading for Russell Wilson. The entire offense just got better.

Losing Noah Fant isn’t ideal but it allows for more targets to go to the talented wide receivers, and Hackett’s offense has never been that tight end friendly.

Jeudy is a stud. He has the intangibles (6’1” 195lbs, 4.46 -40). And a veteran QB needed to take the next step forward.

Over the past two years, there have been glimpses- like this beauty from his rookie year. Breakout potential? Oh, yeah.

There are some cautions too of course. He is still part of a talented three-headed attack with Cortland Sutton and Tim Patrick. This is a new offense for them as well.

But pound for pound, Jeudy is the most talented receiver in that room, and as long as he stays healthy will benefit the most from the upgraded offense in Denver.

Last season’s numbers are not impressive. In 2020 when he started 14 games his numbers were better: 52 catches, 856 yards, and 3 TDs isn’t a bad introduction to the league.

This was without Cortland Sutton of course, but I would argue that adding Sutton and Wilson only increases his big-play ability.

Lastly, there is no threat of suspension anymore either as the judge in his domestic violence case has dismissed the charges at the behest of the District Attorney.
