Los Angeles Chargers: Brandon Sebastian, CB, Boston College

Pick Analysis. CB. Boston College. CB. player. Scouting Report. Brandon Sebastian. 13

This offseason, the Los Angeles Chargers added the best free agent at cornerback when they came to terms with J.C. Jackson. A former undrafted free agent himself, Jackson bounced around from Florida to Riverside Community College, to Maryland before getting his shot with the New England Patriots.

He made the most of the chance they gave him and ended up with 25 interceptions in four seasons — with 17 of them coming over the past two years. That ability to take the ball away led to him signing a five-year, $82.5 million agreement with Los Angeles.

Now, Jackson joins Asante Samuel, Jr. who is a promising slot corner. As for their other outside spot, Michael Davis has the lead in that battle but they don’t have many spots outside of Jackson and Samuel’s locked in.

That’s good news for Brandon Sebastion, an undrafted free agent from Boston College. Sebastion has great height and length but is on the thin side at just 179-pounds. He could stand to put more mass on his frame but he’s already a ball hawk who had four picks in his last season with the Eagles.

In all, he had 141 tackles, 29 pass defenses, and eight picks for Boston College.

He could use some work to become a consistent force in the NFL, but he still has a lot of the tools teams look for and that’s why he might find a role in the Chargers’ secondary.
