Final NFL team that should trade for Bradley Chubb

3. Houston Texans

I am hoping right to the front row on the Davis “Milly Mills” train.  I think he’s going to be a baller, and the Texans would be doing him a huge favor by acquiring a talented pass rusher.  The Texans are obviously going through a full rebuild and are in year one of the Lovie Smith era.

Mills looked very solid in year one, and it’s reasonable to expect him to take another leap in year two.  The Texans’ problem is simple–they just need better players on their roster.

They drafted Derek Stingley and Kenyon Green in round one in this year’s draft, and I think these two could be nice franchise pieces for them.

Bradley Chubb could also be a nice trade piece for them, coming into a low-pressure situation like Houston and perhaps serving as a veteran leader.

Like the Bears, the Texans are in a full rebuild and perhaps think it could make more sense to gamble on a competent player rather than a potential rookie draft pick.

Bradley Chubb was supposed to be the replacement for Von Miller in Denver, but it’s become increasingly more likely that he’s moved.

Denver should do right by Chubb and send him to a place where he can be a featured player.  He’s got the talent to be a perennial Pro Bowler, and a team deserves to have that production on their roster.
