2022 NFL Top Head Coaching List No. 4: Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco 49ers

It was a rough start for Kyle Shanahan who was just 10-22 in his first two seasons as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Then, they went 13-3 and made it to the Super Bowl.

Shanahan nearly made it again in 2021 after a 10-7 campaign and a strong playoff run and while he has yet to win it all, he continues to put up wins when he has a healthy quarterback. And to prove how good he is, no one seems willing to trade for Jimmy Garoppolo, the signal-caller Shanahan continues to find wats to win with.

2022 NFL Top Head Coaching List No. 3: Bill Belichick, New England Patriots

It’s not a coincidence that the longest-tenured NFL head coach is also the one with the most Lombardi Trophies of all time. Bill Belichick actually won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants as their defensive coordinator before getting a shot at being a head coach with the Cleveland Browns in 1991.

That tenure didn’t end as he wanted but he made the most out of his second chance as a head coach. In 2000, he was hired by the New England Patriots and is now entering his 23rd season as their coach.

Belichick has six Super Bowl wins in nine appearances and boasts an insane record of 254-99 and is 31-13 in the playoffs. He’s one of the best ever and continues to add to his resume.
