Odell Beckham Jr. landing spot no. 2: Green Bay Packers

The topic of the Green Bay Packers and the state of their receiving corps is one of the most popular within sports media.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is likely going into the 2022 season with the most underwhelming group of pass-catchers.

Rodgers notably lost his favorite target, All-Pro receiver Davante Adams, to the Las Vegas Raiders leaving him with Allen Lazard, an effective but inconsistent option, new veteran Sammy Watkins who has potential but is injury prone, and his trusty veteran and friend Randall Cobb.

The Packers also drafted two rookies in Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs but as predicted General Manager Brian Gutekunst did not select a receiver in the first round.

The Packers could use another veteran, and a top talent such as Odell Beckham would be perfect. The Packers are always in contention for the playoffs and their cemented place as “Kings of the (AFC) North”.

The group of receivers Rodgers has now could still be enough to get them close to the postseason but having Beckham within their reserves for the time that January football comes around would be a secret weapon they could desperately use.

While Rodgers is one of the, if not the greatest quarterback of our time, he cannot do it all himself. Rodgers has worked with a variety of different receivers, quiet, calm, collected, loud, and outspoken; Beckham would be no exception but Rodgers could handle it.

Odell Beckham would not replace Davante Adams but it would be as good a start as any.
