Full seeding predictions for all 16 NFC teams

No. 4 – Philadelphia Eagles

The top three teams in the NFC may not surprise anyone, but the fourth-place team might.  The Eagles shockingly went 9-8 in 2021, finishing the season strong and qualifying for the playoffs.

In year two of the Nick Sirianni era, expect Philadelphia to take another leap.  They were able to steal AJ Brown from the Titans, and also added Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, and James Bradberry to their defense.

I think very little of Jalen Hurts as a franchise quarterback, but he’s now in an ideal situation.  I believe the Eagles will end up being a very balanced team, perhaps having a top 10-12 offense and defense.

Look for them to win the NFC East and secure a top seed in the NFC for 2022.

No. 3 – Green Bay Packers

Even though the Packers lost a few quality players, they’ll still be fine.  Aaron Rodgers is the back-to-back MVP and has shown no signs of slowing down.

He’s got a reliable defense and should have competent pass-catchers, along with a very good running game with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillion.

Bob Tonyan is a good tight end, and the receiving room features Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Amari Rodgers, and Christian Watson.  Aaron Rodgers’ talent alone should make that unit function just the way they need to.

With the additions of Devonte Wyatt and Quay Walker on the defense, the Packers are still going to run through their division.
