23. Los Angeles Chargers: Jeremy Chinn, DB/LB, Southern Illinois

Original pick: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma

Can you imagine the Los Angeles Chargers with both Jeremy Chinn and Derwin James roaming around on the defensive side of the ball?

That would really be something.

The Carolina Panthers loaded up on defenders in this draft and managed to get Chinn with the final pick of the second round.

He’s been a big-time playmaker for their defense with 224 total tackles, 10 QB hits, 8.0 tackles for loss, a pair of interceptions, a pair of defensive touchdowns, three fumble recoveries, and 10 passes broken up.

24. New Orleans Saints: Patrick Queen, LB, LSU

Original pick: Cesar Ruiz, OL, Michigan

Another player from the vaunted 2019 LSU team, Patrick Queen has been very good for the Baltimore Ravens in his first two NFL seasons.

He hasn’t missed a game and has racked up over 200 total tackles with 19 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, and 13 QB hits.

The Saints got themselves a starting offensive lineman with this pick in Cesar Ruiz, but a playmaker that can stay on the field all three downs like Patrick Queen might have been the better selection here.
