25. San Francisco 49ers: Antonio Gibson, RB, Memphis

Pick Analysis. Memphis. Antonio Gibson. player. 42. Scouting Report. RB. 25

Original pick: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State

Even though this original pick was Brandon Aiyuk out of Arizona State, the 49ers got him earlier on in this 2020 re-draft.

Here, they take a player in Antonio Gibson that could have been the featured back for this offense and another unique weapon for Kyle Shanahan to play around with.

In this scenario, the 49ers would be adding Gibson to an offense that already features Deebo Samuel.

Can you imagine those possibilities?

Gibson has been a great pick for Washington and is a huge piece for their offense right now, but he would have been fascinating in the Shanahan offense out in San Francisco.

26. Green Bay Packers: Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado

26. 49. Laviska Shenault. Colorado. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR

Original pick: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State

It wouldn’t be a mock draft or re-draft without talking about how the Green Bay Packers need to take more wide receivers.

Although his career hasn’t exactly gone as scripted in the NFL thus far, I think Laviska Shenault would have been a much better pick for Green Bay here than Jordan Love was.

The Packers must have thought the end was coming much sooner for Aaron Rodgers, and they made an impulse decision here to pick Jordan Love who hasn’t really looked all that good in the opportunities he’s been given.

Laviska Shenault is an offense creator who could have been a big-time weapon for the Packers and would arguably be their WR1 going into the 2022 season without Davante Adams.
