11. New York Jets: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin

Scouting Report. RB. Wisconsin. Jonathan Taylor. 11. player. 30. Pick Analysis

Original pick: Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville

Jonathan Taylor could not sit on the board any longer in this 2020 NFL re-draft.

This past season, Taylor was a legitimate MVP candidate for the Indianapolis Colts, rushing for over 1,800 yards and racking up 20 total touchdowns.

Although 2022 rookie Breece Hall will be a fun addition to the New York Jets’ offense, it’s hard to argue against picking a guy like Taylor here with what he’s shown so far as a featured back in the NFL.

The Jets selected Mekhi Becton with this pick and although he’s shown at times that he can be dominant at the left tackle position, he’s also struggled to stay healthy.

12. Las Vegas Raiders: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson

Tee Higgins. Scouting Report. WR. Clemson. 12. player. 28. Pick Analysis

Original pick: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

The Las Vegas Raiders obviously wanted to prioritize getting a wide receiver with this pick back in 2020, and they originally made Henry Ruggs III the WR1 of the vaunted 2020 NFL Draft class.

Unfortunately, Ruggs was involved in a tragic accident that now has him imprisoned for the foreseeable future.

The Raiders felt like they were getting the next version of Tyreek Hill on the field with Ruggs and now he’s not even on the roster.

Meanwhile, Tee Higgins and his poor 40-yard dash time have become household names with the Cincinnati Bengals. He’s got nearly 2,000 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in his first two NFL seasons combined.

The NFL decided to overthink Higgins and he slid to the second round of this Draft.
