With training camp just around the corner for many NFL teams, here are five superstars that could be traded away during the summer.

The NFL has already seen a slew of big trades occur in the offseason, as some top names have been dealt to new teams.

While the majority of the big trades are likely accounted for, there are still some notable names that could end up being dealt still this offseason.

In particular, these five NFL stars could still realistically be traded once training camp opens.

NFL star #1: Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants

Saquon Barkley has had quite the start to his career. A seemingly can’t miss prospect, the Giants invested highly in the running back. While a great rookie season seemingly launched him into stardom, injuries and inconsistent play around him have stalled his career.

Now many are wondering what the former star has left in the tank.

The Giants have seemingly flirted with a trade for a while with Barkley. Rumors swirled in the offseason that they were hoping to flip their former top pick, but no market materialized.

While he could certainly stick with the Giants, it appears as though the two sides may be heading for a split.

The issue is that there may not be a lot of NFL teams openly interested in landing Barkley. Running backs are notoriously undervalued, so any team trading for him wouldn’t likely offer much. That said, there are some running back needy teams in the league.

As well, injuries will likely strike some teams. Barkley could be on the move once some injuries pop up in training camp.
