NFL star #3: Kenny Moore, CB, Indianapolis Colts

A development that has come out of mandatory camps recently is Kenny Moore not being present during the Colts offseason program. He wants a new deal, which is understandable considering just how impactful of a defender he has become.

The former undrafted free agent has risen the ranks to become one of the better all-around defenders in the league.

Moore originally worked out of the slot due to his size, and he quickly became the model for what you want in a slot cornerback.

He plays the run aggressively and can cover in space. Add in the fact that Moore also serves as an outside cornerback in the Colts scheme, and he should be in line for a massive payday.

It seems as if the Colts may not be willing to give him the money he wants though. If a true holdout ensues, the Colts may just decide to move on from Moore.

There would be plenty of suitors, as Moore can fit into most defenses and play inside, outside, or both.

This is certainly a storyline to follow, as Moore could be traded if his contract situation doesn’t get resolved.
