With training camps approaching quickly, we look at all 32 teams in the NFL and identify their worst move of the 2022 offseason

The NFL offseason brings hope to each and every franchise. Should they make the right move in free agency or the draft, they could go from pretender to contender in the blink of an eye. But if they make the wrong move, things can get bad in a hurry.

Here, we look at the moves that each of the 32 teams in the NFL could end up regretting as we identify the worst move for each team in the 2022 NFL offseason.

Arizona Cardinals: Trading for Marquise Brown instead of adding O-line help

The Arizona Cardinals offensive line wasn’t exactly elite in 2021 and that’s likely to remain the case in 2022. They added Will Hernandez to play guard but he never lived up to his draft status with the New York Giants, so his addition won’t promise improvement.

They could have really landed a talented player in the first round, such as Tyler Linderbaum, but they traded their pick to the Baltimore Ravens — who ended up taking Linderbaum after doing a little more moving around.

Brown will help but the Cards weren’t exactly desperate at wideout. They have DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, and Rondale Moore under contract and while Hopkins is suspended to start the season they also have tight end Zach Ertz which means their pass-catchers would have been fine even without Brown.

Throw in the fact that Brown needs a new contract, which will be bigger than the one they didn’t want to pay Christian Kirk, and the move makes even less sense.
