3 NFL teams most likely to win their first ever Super Bowl in 2022
First-time Super Bowl contender no. 1: Buffalo Bills
If any team is going to get off of this “never won a Super Bowl” list in 2022, it’s going to be the Buffalo Bills.
As currently constructed, it’s hard to find even a single weakness on the Buffalo Bills’ roster.
The Bills have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in MVP candidate Josh Allen.
They have some of the best offensive weapons in the league in Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, Dawson Knox, and newcomers like OJ Howard and James Cook.
The offensive and defensive lines are loaded, especially defensively.
No team in the NFL has the depth on the defensive front that the Bills currently have. If the goal is to send pass rushers in waves, nobody’s going to do it better than these guys in 2022.
Adding Von Miller is a championship-type of chess move but the Bills didn’t stop there.
In the 2022 NFL Draft, they added Kaiir Elam to the secondary with their top pick, addressing an area of weakness that was exploited in their heartbreaking playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
I think the Bills were the best team in the AFC at the end of last season, and that’s a hot take considering where their season ended.
I don’t think the two best teams represented the AFC in the conference championship game, with all due respect to the Chiefs and Bengals.
I see the Bills as a juggernaut in the AFC this year and one of the toughest teams to beat in the NFL in general.
