Unless your favorite NFL team has an elite quarterback, the signal-caller is often as good as the wide receivers — some teams are more staked than others.

Behind every great quarterback, there’s an excellent wide receiver, or two, or three. Sometimes we look around the NFL and see how a quarterback is only as good as his wideouts. Except for those teams with the transcendent signal-callers like Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Tom Brady.

However, in Rodgers and Mahomes’ case, they are coming into the 2022 NFL season with one of the league’s worst wide receiver rooms. The reigning MVP lost one of the best wideouts in the NFL in Davante Adams.

Meanwhile, Mahomes lost arguably the fastest player in the NFL, Tyreek Hill. Rodgers and Mahomes will probably figure it out and make a new star out of whoever plays.

Luckily for the teams on this list, they don’t have to worry about their wide receivers. Some teams loaded up this past off-season, while others have a corp that will continue to grow.

One of those teams who loaded up was the Philadelphia Eagles. They added AJ Brown via trade with the Titans to go alongside Devonta Smith. Jalen Hurts has weapons and pressure, but the Eagles didn’t make the list.

Tampa Bay’s receiving corps made the top five on PFF’s list, but they didn’t make the cut here. Losing Antonio Brown and the injury to Chris Godwin hurt them. Despite the Jets adding Garrett Wilson to pair with Corey Davis and Elijah Moore, they still have a way to go before they can call themselves one of the best corps in the NFL.

The same goes for the Washington Commanders. They have a star in Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, and drafted Jahan Dotson.

For those looking for the Arizona Cardinals, sorry, but they won’t have the best receiver in the NFL, Deandre Hopkins, due to a six-game suspension. Maybe the aforementioned group of wideouts make this list next year — until then…
